My group and I are continuing to come up with more ideas for our 20 Time Project as we progress. First of all, we decided to continue on with the bottle cap mural idea to encourage recycling and to save wildlife. We also decided that we will collect bottle caps throughout the district and maybe give awards (i.e. a pizza party in elementary schools) to the students/homerooms that collect the most. That way, everyone can get involved in helping the environment and have some

fun in a friendly competition as well. So as we move forward, we plan to speak with the art teachers as well as the advisers of Key Club. We will also need to speak with the office and see if this mural will be allowed. If so, I plan to move forward by getting donation bins for the bottle caps and begin collecting ASAP. Once we get that going, we can begin planning out the design for our actual mural. At this point, our project seems pretty feasible to me if we are able to collect enough bottle caps quickly. At the very least, we should be able to gather them and plan out our design for the mural. The only problem could be actually completing the mural in the amount of time we have, but we won't know until we try. Therefore, I am feeling pretty good about our project as a whole and am very excited for the potential outcome. I get to use art, something that I love, to save the environment and wildlife, which I also love, making this a very intriguing project for me.
